Guests and New Members are always welcome! No experience required!
We host speakers, organize community outreach, host workshops, have show and share, and provide quilt mentors on call.
We are a very affordable group at only $35/year for membership, or $5/meeting as a guest.
Members also get access to our exclusive newsletter. They are always the first to know about speakers and upcoming events!
SPEAKERS
LEARN NEW TECHNIQUES
We have speakers several times a year who join our meetings and share some helpful advice. In the past we have had speakers on: colour theory, scrap quilting, etc.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH
HELP US HELP OTHERS
We host community outreach evenings where we make quilted objects for donations to various community groups. We also participate in national programs like CQA Quilts for Ronald McDonald House.
SHOW AND SHARE
SEE QUILTS. SHARE QUILTS.
At every monthly meeting, we host show and share. This is a great time to be inspired by the work others are doing and to get some encouragement for any projects you many have on the go.
Any quilted project (even if unfinished) can be shown in Show and Share.
MENTORS ON CALL
NEED SOME HELP WITH A PROJECT?
We are one of the only quilt groups in Ontario that provides Mentors on Call. If you are struggling with a project or are unsure what to do next, we provide mentors who you can contact to assist you with all your quilting needs!
LIBRARY
TOOLS AND RESOURCES
We have a library of quilt books, magazines, rulers, and templates. These resources provides patterns, techniques, and inspiration. They are available to all members at no charge.
